凯特·邓肯

凯特·邓肯 brings a wealth of musical and music industry experience to Loyola's School of Music Industry. A musical educator and performer, Kate has spent the decade-plus working in nearly every genre - jazz, 恐慌, 流行, 歌剧, 甚至是国家. Kate also currently works as a performing musician, 爵士声乐编曲, 讲师, and clinician across the country in addition to her duties at Loyola. Kate currently serves as Loyola's Associate Director for the School of Music Industry and Chair for the school's 受欢迎的 & 商业音乐 and Urban & Electronic Music degree programs respectively. Her classroom duties include ensemble direction of two vocal jazz groups: Crescent Collective (SATB Vocal Jazz) and Quarter Tones (SSA Acapella), 私人语音学习, professional development and internship course instruction, 流行. Capstone instruction, Artist Health & Wellness course instruction, and Masterclass direction. Kate is also co-director for Loyola's Paris 出国留学 program; teaching a common curriculum course within that program each summer as well. 

In addition to her administrative and classroom assignments, Kate also serves as faculty advisor to Full-Tilt Marketing, a student-歌剧ted entrepreneurial group, and is active in several gender equality groups and events, such as: the Not Your Mother's Lecture Series, 女孩爵士日, and the Women in Music initiative.
